Sturbridge Village homeschool days

I Know its been a long time since posting.  Life is crazy, Life is busy and sometimes I don't have time to sit here and post.  But I do love to share all the new experiences Samantha has because of homeschooling. I will make a few post of all the fun we have been having.

This fall we went to Sturbridge Village Homeschool day.  I signed Samantha up for the textile class.  She learned all about the textiles of that time. How they spun wool to make clothes, wove it  to make the clothe and how they spun it into yarn to knit with.  We enjoyed walking through the village.  Samantha also made hand dipped candles and made a candle holder out of tin doing the punch design they use to use back then.
